About Us

Our place in the world

We are the world's leading supplier of improved water

Aquatabs disinfect 32 Billion Litres of water annually           Safer Water, Safer World

Without access to clean water, life is extremely hard. Water borne diseases pose a massive health threat. Long hours that could be more productive are spent fetching water. Schooling is threatened and ongoing poverty is much more likely. We believe this is wrong. And we are trying to improve this situation for as many people as we can.

We believe in being as scientifically advanced as possible. So we hire highly qualified people.

And we believe that the solutions to clean water supply problems have to be simple. Because in these tough environments, only simplicity works. We know this because we have been doing this since 1984.

“This is something I might never see in my lifetime again. Biofilms give germs 1,000 times more protection, thus standard disinfectants such as bleach, hydrogen peroxide, or ultraviolet light don’t work properly. The EPA has developed a new efficacy protocol and I am delighted to say that our NaDCC effervescent disinfection tablets are the first and only product to have passed this test ”

Michael Gately, CEO Medentech
