News - Clarification of product range effective against E Coli

A lethal E coli outbreak in Germany has led suppliers to seek clarification of Medentech product range and efficacy.
Medentech can confirm that the following product range are effective against E coli:

1. Aquatabs Food-Safe
   Aquatabs Food-Safe has been specifically developed to disinfect fresh fruit and vegetables making them safe for consumption by killing micro- organisms such as the E coli found in Germany. There is no adverse effect on the food that comes in contact with the treated solution.
2. Aquatabs Multipurpose Tablets
   Aquatabs Multipurpose Tablets are a broad spectrum biocide used for surface disinfection and general purpose use in hospitals, kitchens and other care facilities.
3. Klorsept Effervescent Disinfection Tablets
   Klorsept is a broad spectrum biocide in an effervescent tablet form. It is used for high, intermediate and low level environmental surface disinfections in hospitals. It is specially formulated to give safe and easy to prepare disinfecting solutions with wide spectrum activity against micro organisms including E coli. .
